Mark is a senior application scientist for polymers and industrial chemicals at Bruker Corporation.  He most recently left Oak Ridge National Lab where he worked in the Center for Nanophase Materials Sciences conducting research and working with users on matrix assisted laser desorption time-of-flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF MS) for 3.5 years.  Prior to that he worked at Xerox Corporation for 14 years as the polymer MALDI subject matter expert after completing an NRC post-doctoral appointment at the National Institute of Standards and Technology.  He earned his Ph.D. at the University of Akron in the Wesdemiotis group.  Mark has over 20 years of experience in the analysis of synthetic macromolecules using MALDI-ToF mass spectrometry.
