Ole Jan Myhre has his education in Chemical Engineering in Norway and Packaging from Brunel Univ. 

Ole Jan has worked in the plastics industry since 1986 in R&D, Technical service, application and market development at Statoil, Borealis and now Norner. Most of this time Ole Jan has been engaged in plastics processing and application development in the interface with converters and brand owners. During his years at Statoil and Borealis he played a key role in the interface between internal product development and strategy and the customers production and market needs. During the time in Statoil he was involved in R&D and TS for PP fibre products and applications and took part in expanding the PP product range for filament and nonwoven applications. A major achievement during the years at Borealis is his contribution to the successful range of Borstar PE film grades and their market introduction. Since then Ole Jan has been mainly dedicated to film extrusion and flexible packaging.

Ole Jan took part in the management team who established Norner AS in 2007 – Norner is a Global market leader of industrial polymer R&D services based in Norway where we operate an advanced technology centre for development and testing. 

His focus at Norner is customer management, marketing, flexible packaging materials and technology and circular economy.
